We appeal to and invite individuals to join us. We encourage and motivate corporates to help in any way they can so that we can keep food flowing to those who need it the most.
Food is essential to satisfy hunger and only when hunger is satisfied a man can get down to do something productive and advance higher in life. This movement is for bread or, as we call it in India, Roti. Welcome to the Roti Movement.
About us
How does any movement start? A few friends get together and start talking. This is what we did and how the Roti Movement germinated in our minds. Appalled by the experience of watching millions go hungry in the ongoing pandemic we decided we could and should do something. After all, it is not mission impossible.
Roti Movement has at its core people with faith in humanity, in beliefs that if you wish you can translate thought to action. To paraphrase a saying, it only takes a few good men to do something and rest of humanity will follow. We started this Roti Movement Project with the express aim of giving utmost priority to food as the most primary and basic requirement for survival.

Mr. Sukhbir Sharma is an eminent personality associated with a host of social and labour organizations and has a number of achievements to his credit. Born and raised in a farmer’s family he could feel the pain of a person who is deprived of food. Mr. Sharma has initiated the Roti Movement to ensure food for everyone as the first and foremost right. He was the Founder Chairman of Delhi Labour Welfare Board, Government of NCT of Delhi.
